  1. Self-publish, Recluse. Your book will always be in print (the major reason to self-publish in my opinion), it will always available via online platforms like Amazon (depending on which self-publishing house you choose, that online availability is built-in), and you will always have control of your content and royalties. You have a platform for exposure already, you already have an audience, and the profits with conventional publishers are minuscule anyway. You'll thank me. Talk to Joseph Farrell; he'll tell you: self-publish. Unless you are able to strike an unusual deal (and it's rare at your level), publishers own your work and you lose the control to have your book in print when they decide the sales are no longer worth keeping it there and then it's bye-bye to your work. AND the profits are nearly non-existent at the level of most entry-level authors. Even NYTimes bestsellers don't provide the profits people think. Trust me. Self-publish.
