Making the podcast rounds again, this time on the Up is Down with Dean Reiner. This week's chat was mostly centered around this infamous Process Church of the Final Judgment. This was a fun chat for me in no small part because it allowed me to provide new information on the the Process, which I hadn't previously covered directly for a number of years. Over time, I've had to rethink my views somewhat on this entity.
In relation to the Process, we discuss the Malayan Emergency and the birth of modern counterinsurgency doctrine; the Profumo Affair; the Mayfair Set, their links to a plot destabilize the British government during the late 1960s-early 1970s, and their long-term influence on Brexit; the curious places where the Process turned up; Thomas Jude Baumler and the enigmatic "Bishop" Carl Maria Stanley; the Sovereign Order of Saint John; Manson and the Process; the overlap between the Process, Manson, and the far right; their ties with the alleged Son of Sam cult; the support given to Maury Terry by Rupert Murdoch; the terrible fate of the Process children; and so much more.
The podcast can be found here.

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for all your research and effort. I've just recently started following your work and its been such an enormous resource for my own research. I prefer speech over text and after having gone through many of your several part series, it is nice to be able to hear the information recombined 'on the fly' so to speak. Looking forward to future work.
ReplyDeleteThe Process Church does look like some kind of a control operation, particularly in regard to the complete spaucity of info as regards the background of its leadership. There was a DVD out a few years back but they don't seem to have provided an online version, so I'm not arsed forking out for it.
ReplyDeleteProfumo Affair - interesting to see it constantly resurfacing in the MSM, just recently in the right wing Telegraph.
Re Murdoch's support for Maury Terry, that is also rather strange. Very few people are aware of this case: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Muriel_McKay
Fwiw, Torygraph article is about a new BBC series https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/12/16/christine-keeler-drama-will-not-give-osteopath-easy-way-fact/
