The Nine seemingly made a major resurgence in the 20th century.

I believe the Masonic lodge you're referring to was called the Nine Sisters rather than Nine Muses (though it was named after the muses). And yes, it had a very overlooked influence in the revolutionary era that broke out at the end of the 18th century, especially in Haiti. I wrote more on the lodge here.

I'm not sure if your interpretation is consistent with the Nazis co-opting the date. Increasingly I see the Nazis as a separate force, though they would maintain close ties with the Vatican both before and after WWII. If anything, it may be symbolic of the Vatican's counterrevolution against the Masons.

-Recluse
Reclusehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13510266038933358020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4891114758163865289.post-61005563579079812302012-11-20T15:07:27.409-05:002012-11-20T15:07:27.409-05:00Very intriguing! When I was looking at the "4...Very intriguing! When I was looking at the "47" material I discovered that, since Hebrew is written and read right-to-left, "74" and "47" are sometimes said to have same "numerical significances" (as are "23" and "32" and other suchlike pairs). Hence, "911" and "119" might be similarly describable. Incidentally, I have wondered whether the fact that numbers like "11," "22," and "33" seem to loom large in terms of "psychic mojo" might not be because such numbers are "palindromic."

In any case, here are just a few observations and leads on "nine." First, "novem" (in "November") itself means "nine." There are nine muses (I have recently focused on Thalia and Melpomene). In Freemasonry, there is an important "Lodge of the Nine Muses" (founded, I believe, in the "Illuminati"-Revolutionary year of 1776). Additionally, the nymph "Clytia" is the "spirit" of the heliotrope flower; she sat nine days staring at the sun (since you're a music guy, cf. U2's: "Staring at the sun | Not the only one | Who's happy to go blind") in misery over being ignored by her love-interest (Helios).

During WWII, "Operation Torch" was in full swing on a November 9 (1942). Previously, it was said that Petain had crushed his popular, labor opposition and had total control of Vichy by November 9, 1940. Of course, it was ALSO said that Petain was merely the front man for the Zionist-controlled, Bank of worms "Synarchy" (compare the "Committee of 300", "Illuminati", "Bilderbergs", "Trilateralists", etc.).

Pope Pius IX (9!) issued his first encyclical, Qui pluribus, November 9, 1846. This is considered by Freemasons to be among those encyclicals that are anti-masonic in thrust (although the fraternity is not explicitly named). Now, Pope Pius IX resisted the Italian "Risorgimento" (i.e., the unification movement) headed by Giuseppe Garibaldi and, along with with Cavour and Mazzini, he is known as "one of the makers of Modern Italy" (http://www.ohio.edu/chastain/dh/gari.htm). Pope Pius IX stood against this nationalization of Italy and tried to sustain the influence of the Papal States.

Now, one *possible* significance for November 9, might be this dual assertion of exoterically "modern democrats" over "old-order" kings and Popes but with an esoterically "bank-controlled" element (e.,g., as with the "Synarchy"). This just IS Fremasonry's modus operandi, or maybe Joker-esque "calling card." Consider that, in the Roman Catholic Church, the Second Vatican Countil (via John XIII) ushered in "Aggiornamento" - or a sort of "modernizing" that overturned the opposition of the likes of Pius IX.
